Rob Livingston - Minister of Administration and Children
Rob Livingston grew up in Tamaqua, Pa. He played baseball, he bowled, and played the tenor saxophone. It was the saxophone that brought him to Tuscaloosa in 1997 to march in the Million Dollar Band. Along with traveling with the Tide, he received his degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. In 2001 he met a beautiful woman who helped introduce him to Christ. In 2002 he gave his life to Christ and was baptized. He started working at Chapel Hill’s Summer Camp that same June. Rob was a counselor for two summers before taking over as Director in 2005, and is still very involved today.
The same beautiful girl who led him to Christ became Rob’s wife in May of 2003. Erica and Rob have three wonderful children: Henry, Coelton, and Lillia. Erica works as the Freshman Chemistry Lab Coordinator at the University of Alabama. When they are not working they enjoy spending time together with their kiddos.
Rob began as a volunteer Children’s director, worked bi-vocationally for years, and in 2013 was moved to full time Director of Children’s Ministries and Recreation. Rob drove a school bus for many years in the Tuscaloosa County school system. If you saw a guy in a crazy hat, that was probably him! Over the years, Rob has served in various positions including interim youth pastor and interim administrator. In January 2019, he became the full time Minister of Children, Recreation and Administration. In December 2019, he received a M.A.C.E. Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Rob enjoys spending time with his family, Alabama football, and traveling. He still enjoys bowling and dreams of bowling his 3rd perfect game (300) someday. Until then, he will just be happy teaching his kids how to play baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and (just about) anything else they’d like to learn.

Dr. Ken Cheek - Minister to Senior Adults
Ken grew up in Louisville, Mississippi and holds a BA from Mississippi College, a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary. After graduating from New Orleans, Ken married the love of his life, the former Mary Harless. They have 1 daughter, Tracy and 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Joel.
Ken served as senior pastor of Northridge Baptist Church in Northport for 30 years before retiring from the full time pastorate in 2009. Northridge named him Pastor Emeritus. Over his 30 years of ministry in Tuscaloosa County, Ken served in many areas of denominational life at both the association and state levels as well as First Vice Chairman of the North American Mission Board.
Retiring to the Cheeks simply means “redirection” in ministry. They joined the Chapel Hill family and began leading the senior adult ministry. Over the next 7 years in addition to working with the seniors at Chapel Hill, Ken served as interim pastor for 4 other churches. In January of 2017 Chapel Hill asked him to join the staff as Associate Pastor.
Ken loves to fish, read and travel but his number one passion (after preaching!) is people. He loves to fellowship with friends and meeting new folks.

Stacey Johnson - Director, Child Development Center
My name is Stacey Johnson. I am a Northport native and graduate from Tuscaloosa County High School. I am blessed to be surrounded with a wonderful family. My husband and I have been married 20 years. We have three children, two He allowed us to raise here on this Earth and one He is holding for us in Heaven! My oldest daughter is seventeen and my youngest son is thirteen. As a family we enjoy trips to the beach, riding bikes at the Riverwalk and simply being together. When I am not busy with baseball, basketball or other family activities I really like to shop!
